Monthly giving options available! A gift at any level helps AIR help artists.

The award at this level is a 36” x 46” Patricia Bellan-Gillen print created in 2000 entitled Beginning/God and Caryatid,  screenprint with Chine Colee.

At this level your donation can support more AIR Community Outreach:  In 2024, AIR’s Community Outreach program held 13 events across the city of Pittsburgh. AIR also offers a robust Youth Open Studio (YOS) program on Wednesdays in partnership with the Andy Warhol Museum and we have expanded our Assistantship program.  With your support, in 2025, we can reach more students and youth throughout the Pittsburgh area.

The award at this level is a 22” x 30” Clayton Merrell print created in 2006 entitled Armature, inkjet and screenprint on paper.

At this level your donation can support the creation of new work by working artists : In 2024, AIR hosted 8 artists looking to create new printwork. Artists included Mary Martin, Clayton Merrell, Alisha Wormsley, Patricia Bellan Gillen, Catherine Drabkin, Ben Schonberger, and others. We have an exciting roster of artists we will be working with in 2025, and your support of AIR will help ease financial barriers and encourage their creative development.

The award at this level is a 15” x 20” print by Mary Martin created in 2023 entitled Maternal Legacy I, screenprint on paper.

At this level your donation can support new young artists developing their artistic practices: For many artists after college, there are limited avenues to further their education and build their practices. AIR remains a constant experimental artmaking resource in the Pittsburgh area and greater printmaking community. Give today and support AIR’s ability to provide technical printmaking equipment and support at lower costs to artists.

The award at this level is an 11” x 17” print by William Fick created in 2024 entitled Skull, screenprint on chipboard.

At this level your donation can support greater access to studio space and print equipment: Studio space is a premium in Pittsburgh, so, for many artists, AIR is one of the few places they can go and find a dedicated place for making their art. Donating $100 to AIR helps us provide for art making spaces and much more.

The award at this level is an AIR Screenprinting Tutorial including instruction, materials, supplies and tech support from an experienced artist/printer.

At this level your donation can support tutorials and learning sessions for new artists, students and others: AIR staff is on hand to support all artists, makers, and more who come through this door. Giving to AIR helps us maintain and strengthen the staff on hand to ensure all have a worthwhile printmaking experience.

The award at this level is screen processing forgone 20” x 24” screen to be used In Studio for project work.

At this level your donation can support processing screens for artists’ projects: Every donation helps. Give $25 to AIR today and help us cover the costs of processing a printing screen for the creatives and teachers who utilize AIR in their practice.
